Clutch troubleshooting
 
I recently got my 94 Z well enough to really launch it. 1st gear lite the tires up really good. I grabbed 2nd hard trying to keep the tires smoking and all I got was my engine taching out and no rubber on the road. I bought the car used, It has a stage 3 Competition Clutch Domestic. Supposedly there is about 40K on it and they have replaced the hydraulic parts too. Being used stuff I'm tempted to just tear it apart and put in all new and be done with it. But if there's some easy checks to make first I'm up for that. Is there a good troubleshooting guide for this? If I do tear it down it will get a SPEC stage 4 SC424 I'm thinking. Thanks!

I recently had the car on the Dyno and it made 375hp at 5200 rpm. So I'm thinking it is about a 400HP motor when wound out to 6K or so. The guy did not want to take it that high. With that said I think I should have at least squawked the tires on a 1-2 shift.
