Clutch problems

So I am driving down the highway and when I push in the clutch all the way to the bottom, there is a bad shaking on the pedal. This happened for a minute or two and it got progressively.

It then got to a point where when I pushed in the pedal, it happened earlier (as in not all the way down).

I put the car in neutral and pushed the clutch all the way in and the motor stalled. I pulled over and towed it home.

Any ideas? Im thinking it is either an exploded puk or something with the clutch fork or the clutch fork bolt.

Anoyone? This is my DD.

Thanks

Re: Clutch problems

sounds like leaky hydraulics or a lot of air in the lines. Try bleeding them, it wasnt disengaging the clutch when you had the pedal down which is why it stalled at low speed or sitting still.

I was going 60 and not in gear when it stalled.

Neutral + clutch on floor = motor dies. I doubt its hydraulics...

May have broken parts of a pp or clutch or something of that sort jaming the flywheel/pp up and killing it. Thats the only way I can see you stalling it at 60mph.
