Clutch problems

I'm having some weird clutch problems and I need some advice. I took my car to the stripa little over a month ago. When I got to the end of the track, the car didn't want to go into 1st. I had to go to 2nd and then slam it into 1st. Since then, that problem has gotten better, but the clutch pedal still feels weird. Whenever I get on it and try to shift gears, it doesn't want to come out of gear and sometimes when I come to a stop and push in the clutch, it is still grabbing. It's like the clutch isn't fully disengaging. I need advice here because I don't have the money to go spending on parts that I don't need. I can easily fix the car myself, I just am not sure what's wrong. I was thinking it might just be a bad slave cylinder but it seems like it may be a little bit more of a problem than that. Broken clutch fork? Broken spring in the clutch? Warped flywheel?

BTW: The clutch is not slipping any when under a load.

Re: Clutch problems

Our clutch is doing something similar. After an aggressive launch, slipping the clutch, not sidestepping it, the pedal gets floppy, like there's no hydraulic pressure. Only the spring brings the pedal back up. Can't shift for several seconds, either.
The car is an '01 SS, with 65k on the clock. Owned it for four months, now.
