Clutch Problem

Ok, here's my probem, I recently installed a new aluminum flywheel along with my centerforce DF clutch (had the clutch on the car previously with OE Flywheel) When i installed the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder and press the clutch down, it is really soft most of the way down and then will not go right to the floor like its hard. I have tried the bleed technique a couple of times but am wondering if there is still air in the system? when i hold the slave cylinder vertical (pushrod pointed at the ground) and push the pushrod in and out to bleed it feels like theres air in the slave cylinder...first i thought it was a return spring or something by the sound but after trying another one i had and never heard any noise i am convinced that there is still air in it....please help me....the car is a 93 LT1
