Clutch kits

I'm going with a 1200hp TT set-up for my 97ss...anyone have any ideas on any good clutch kits that can withstand this type of power?

1200 HP? Thats a tall order for an LT1. None of the current LT1 clutch kits will hold that kind of HP. Street twin might hold if you don't have sticky tires. You will probably have to switch to an automatic. Tell us more about how you plan to achieve that kind of HP.:)

A twin disk and replace the disks with brass or sinistered iron clutches? Certainly not cheap or off the shelf.

Are you talking about 1200 rear-wheel or flywheel horsepower?

If you mean 1200 flywheel, then I think a street twin may handle it.

And if he has a 1200 horsepower LT1, then I don't really think he is worried about finding a "cheap" clutch.

need more info. With the guy above. If you got 1200 hp out of an lt1 money isnt prolly that big of an issue.
