Broken rearend
 

So yea, my earend broke sunday. 20psi in my nittos(275-40r17), a good burnout and a 4500rpm launch, i'll take the cover off this weekend and see what broke. last time the carrier and everything exploded. :(

Just build it bigger and better next time. I have not tried a high rpm launch and might rethink it now. Of course I want a 3500 stall.

with an A4 you would much more likely to have a surviving rear...When I was running an A4 I had 325 DRs with a 3200, rear lasted just fine. tranny however did not...

yea, atually i think an axel snapped. decided to ease off the clutch and heard some "slinttering" sounds. lol. i believe i will put a 12 bolt in it. i'm going to Thunder Racing tommorow and talk to Gene about it.
