bleeding the clutch
Does anyone know where the bleeder screw is for the t56

Re: bleeding the clutch
driver side of the transmission...just above the hydrolic hose that goes in it.
find the seam where the trans bolts to the bellhousing...and run your fingers up...you'll hit the hose first...then above that (way up in the tunnel) you'll find the hole for the bleeder screw. its a PITA to get to. use a mity vac it's much faster |
Re: bleeding the clutch
If i were to bleed the system not using a vacuum....how many times does it typically take to get all the air out the system? Also...when i was bleeding the clutch the pedal stayed down to the floor after opening the bleeder valve...should that happen?

Re: bleeding the clutch
i've heard 50+ times...
and i don't think it's a big deal if the pedal stays down. there isn't any pressure forcing it back up. |
Re: bleeding the clutch
One more question. What size tube will fit on the bleeder valve? is it the same for the bleeder screw on the brake calibers? Using a vacuum...how much pressure should be used?
