bad vibrations

I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced problems with bad vibrations due to an improperly balanced pressure plate. I have the maddog clutch kit and it looks just like a spec clutch kit. I know valeo makes all of the PP, but I doubt that they're all balanced the same.

My step-brother was telling me his shop has had several problems with the spec PP being way out of balance. Anyone?

Could this cause the motor to vibrate badly or is it more likely the flywheel, assuming the motor is new and the rotating assembly was balanced.

Anything above 2k or so, but not as badly revving it at a stop in neutral.
