B&M shifter

I am installing a 80692 B&M shifter for a 82-92 camaro/firebird into a 94 firebird with a 4l60E. the shifter is made to fit my tranny. I cannot get it to start. i have the relay wired when i engage the neutral safety switch i have 12 volts at the relay at the a2 pin. the 4 pins at the top get about .15 is this right and is there anything else that needs to wire in for the starter to engage?

Link to instructions i have.

While you are sitting in the car, grab the handle with your left hand. Push the handle over to the left. Did you hear a click?

A problem I have faced with both of my megashifters is that since the neutral safety and the reverse switches are not adjustable, if I bump the shifter to the right, it looses contact.

Everytime I get in my camaro I have to pull the shifter to the left just a touch, then it will fire right up. Alittle annoying at first but it is second nature to me.

Try that and see if that helps at all. It might not be your problem, but definately something to check.
