B&M Ripper console interference problem?

B&M Ripper console interference problem?
I just installed the shifter and like the feel. I do have a problem when I go into reverse. The shift lever is so far over it dislodges the shifter boot and slightly moves the console. Anyone have a solution?

OK. I called B&M about the interference. The Rippers made up to 2001 had a removable stick. Yes, they did interfere or hit the console ( great designer at work ). So, they redesigned the shifter with a attached stick and no clearance problems with the console. Do they offer a spacer or different stick to solve the problem? Hell no. Buy the new one and it will be ok. Don't you just love some of these aftermarket manufactures!!!!
