Axle swap questions ASAP

Axle swap questions ASAP

We are currently putting axles in my friends 2000 SS, well trying to, we have the cover off, the caps that hold the axles in we think... where are the c-clips? Wgat else do we nee to do to get these axles out and get the new ones back in?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

OK put those caps right back on before you end up with the posi on your head.
Look in the middle of the posi. You'll find a piece of bar stock called a paddle it's held in with a bolt. Pull the bolt and slide the paddle out. Push each axle in towards the center of the car one at a time and take the C shaped piece of metal (C-clip) out of the groove in the axle then pull the axle out.
You must have the wheels, calipers, and brake discs off first.
