Auto tranny shudder issues??
1993 Z28 auto 700r4
it has had issues in the past with tourque converter shudder when locking up, added fluid additive made it go away.
Last little while at over 80 mph under light aceleration some shuddering/vibration,,, not real bad but enough to shake the change in the ash tray,, basically in cruise control and going up slight hills is when it will do it the most as cruise will just ease the throttle to keep speed. Funny thing is the tourque converter locks and unlocks without shudder while shudder/vibration at the 80 or 85 mph
Drive shaft looks OK, u joints look OK, everything thing seems tight no leaks, regular fluid/filter changes every 40k or so (tranny has 130k on it), but lately shudder/vibration getting worse especially when on longer trips.
Anyone have an idea please and thank you.
