aluminum driveshaft

Did the A4 LS1 98'-02' f-body cars come with an aluminum driveshaft? If so will it fit on my 96' A4 LT1 camaro?

Thanks

2.73 equipped LS1 cars had steel
3.23 equipped LS1 cars had alum

all driveshafts from 83-02 are interchangeable....v6, v8, 3rd gen, 4th gen, LT1, LS1, alum, steel, auto, manual....all the same.

biggest difference is the 4th gen v6s had a 2 piece shaft...so you'd need som extra brackets i think...but it would bolt up fine. not that you'd ever want one on a v8

I had a custom heavy-duty aluminum drive-shaft built locally w/ 1350 yokes (top). The one on the bottom is a stock LS.
