Alot of chatter and slipping

I guess after 240k my stock clutch is on its way out lol..

I read the sticky and an autozone pp and aftermarket disc the norm still?

What disc would be a decent choice for a bolt car that gets driven hard still?

I want to keep it below $500 since I need my flywheel turned or replaced

Throw out bearing. Autozone good enough?

Thanks in advance

AZ, or other chain out part stores, might still have the "original" Valeo clutch kit sold under their name. Typically though all of them are the clone PP and off-shore (china) disc

with that said yes using any one of those clutches, and you may bet lucky getting a real Valeo from old stock, buy the $200 kit and then the $175 McLeod DF disc. Get the original FW resurfaced assuming it is not gauged from the failing clutch. You can get stock replacement FW's for $100 if you need a new one

Clutch kit will come with a new TO bearing and plot "bushing". I run the bearing myself. They are about $12 from rockauto for GM one. Auto part stores also carry ones made by Borg Warner
