Air in Clutch line...
I have the motor and everything out of my car, the slave cylinder and master are still in the car and intact.. the only thing is when I push the slave cylinder down you can hear air from the lines. how do i get that out? Is there a bleeder screw on the master??????

no bleeder screw. I followed the proceedure in the Haynes manual. Basically, remove resivour cap and rubber piece; push slave rod in about 3/4 inch and hold while replacing rubber and cap on resivour. Then pump slave with short strokes until no more air bubbles appear in resivour.
This seemed to work for me, although I havent started the car up yet to try it out. |
