A4 to M6 swap
 

i have a 97 SS (LT1 car) and i know a guy with a 00 Z (LS1 car) wanting to do a swap. he has an M6 and i have an A4 and we both wont the opposite basically. now i know there is a difference between the LT1 manual setup and the LS1 setup, ive heard one is a push design and the other is a pull design but i was just wondering if it was possible to do the swap and put an LT1 A4 setup into an LS1 car and vice versa take an LS1 manual setup and transplant it into an LT1 car. just curious i hope someone can help that has done this or has experience with this sort of thing, TIA
