96 T56

In my 96 WS6 6 Speed... going with a LE3 383 setup... I wanted to spray a 250 Direct Port Nitrous shot... but not from a dig. Easy on the launch, then bang the **** out of the gears.

Any takes if the stock T56 can hold to all the torque?

Re: 96 T56

I guess it would have to be for at least a year until I build the bitch up. But it would mostly only be N/A and the spray would be at most 2-3 times.

Re: 96 T56

Daily driven it's going to be a LE3 383...

I don't launch and rarely do burnouts. If I race, I feather it through the 60ft... then plant it. Well, once the clutch is released anyway.

I don't powershift, but hit those gears as hard as possible.

When I do spray, it's going to be a 250 direct port nitrous shot. But it's going to be a rare occassion.

Re: 96 T56

Id say it could be ok with no powershifting, and not hard launches.

Re: 96 T56

I say it will last then. Your rear and driveshaft will explode long b4 the T56. If you are worried about it holding up there are some things you can do to the T56 to increase its durability. D&D performance is where i will be buying my stuff from.
