94-97 T-56 Torque Ratings?

Ok just called Tremec and they told me All F-body vehicle T-56 Torque ratings all were at 350 lbs. I know this isn't true except for 93 NON-G92 T-56's. Anyone have the actual ratings from a credible source? How about the LS1 T-56's?

Re: 94-97 T-56 Torque Ratings?

The 94-97 t56 wasn't made by Tremec, it was made by Borgwarner. I've always heard they were rated at 450 ft/lbs, same for the 98-02's The 93's were rated at either 350 or 400. Tremec took over Borgwarner in 97-98 and the LS1 t56's were then made by Tremec. The 94-97 t56 is reportedly the stronger of all the t56's, there were a lot of problems reported with the later Tremec built t56's, the 94-97's Borgwarners seem to take much more abuse. They started building them in Mexico after switching to Tremec fwiw.
