I need to know if the boost valves in the 700r-4 and the 4l60 are interchangeable. I can't seem to find one specifically designed for the 4l60.

they are the same but I hope you are not just putting the lager boost valve in...

the trans has been rebuilt, but has a softer shift at WOT than at half throttle. I'm probably also putting in the brown accumulator spring. I'm going to take the car to a friend this weekend and let him fix it up right. The tranny shop did not impress me AT ALL. The owner tried to tell me that the epc was not adjustable. I know better because I adjusted it before. Anyway, I had it for 2 weeks and it started acting up, so I took it back. He drove it and said "everything seems fine to me". It's got a 2 yr warranty, so I guess it's time for me to play with it a little.

Yeah that should help a little, but if it was built right it should already have the larger boost valve.

I know that if your on message boards and your from MD you know about CPT, just take a look at the link in my sig to see if you had gotten any of that installed, Frank tells almost everything he puts in his trannies on that site...
