I just drained my transmission fluid and took off my trans filter and there was 2 small rectangle piece of flat metal about 1/2 inch by 3/4 inch both are exactly the same size inside my trans filter I heard them inside so i shook them out. What the heck are these things. My trans pump broke during installation thats why I am pulling out. Can anybody tell me what this is???

 

Those would be pump vanes shinny rectangular probably fell from broken pump into the filter
