4l60e help
Ive got a 94 chety v6 truck with the 4l60e trans. A few months ago i was driving down the high way and trans fluid started pouring out of the front of the trans. Well i took the pump out and put a new seal in it and a new o-ring aroud it. I also took the valve body off and put new filters in it. I also put a new 1-2 accumulator in it. I put the old pressure switch assembly back in. I was going to get new o-rings for it but the trans place told me i couldnt get them, i had to buy a new pressure switch assembly. I didnt buy one. Well when i put the truck back together i drove it and it wouldnt shift out of 2nd. I only drove it maybe half a mile. I checked the fluid it was low. I added 3 quarts. I drove it again and it shifted through every gear like it should. It didnt do anything weird drove perfectly. I started heading home and got up to 70. Things were going good, then no more 3rd or 4th. Now it shift from 1st to 2nd. When ive got it in d or od it wont stay in 2nd it free wheels when i let off the gas. When i rev it back up it will start to pull when it hits the rpm 2nd has to be at for that mph. When i leave it in 2nd on the shifter it will stay in 2nd no free wheeling. I got data master for my camaro so i hooked the computer up to the truck and did a log and it says 2nd is always selected. When i put it in 1 it says 1. 2 d and od say 2nd. Ive never had an auto trans apart before this. But if i understand right mayber the pressure switch assembly may have had a seal go bad so its not going to the right gear. Any ideas what it could be.
