hey how's it going everyone i just swapped my old
trans for a rebuilt 4l60e now i have been driving on
the trans for about 2 1/2 weeks now with no problems what so ever
so last night as pulling into my drive way my car had no movement
i cycled the shifter through all gears and reverse still no movement
so i check the fluid level i checked for leaks and i checked the fluid and it wasn't burnt so i was lost
as i started to google i found more info stated about a front pump and the tc what do you guys think ?

Same thing happened to me in 100 ft when from 45 turned and went to gently get on the gas and nothing. Pulled it apart and pump gear was broke into 8 pieces. 10k miles on the new tranny build.

 

did you have to rebuild again or just change the pump and converter ?

 

I did a full rebuild just to make sure. But after taking it apart the clutch packs weren't all that bad. And everything else was looking good also. Just the chance you want to take I guess.
