4L60E Conversion question

Simple question: Will a 4L60E from a 4th gen camaro bolt directly up to a 1998 Chevy fullsize pickup truck engine?

I'm assuming the torque converter is different. Can anyone verify this?

Thanks,
Ryan

Re: 4L60E Conversion question

From what I understand yes it can. Assuming the truck is a 2wd. I have no certain varification though.

Re: 4L60E Conversion question

My thoughts as well. SBC = SBC...? Just want to verify the bellhousing is the same.

Doesn't the LS1/LT1 difference apply here??

Re: 4L60E Conversion question

Apologies... 1st gen SBC

Disregard LSx and LT5 motors .
