Hey guys need some help. Here what I know is good on the tranny. Just changed torque converter (thought that was the problem) and the tranny had about 10k on it. Here is my problem: Of the line it shifts fine and just driving normally it shifts VERY smooth almost to smooth for a LT1. Same into 3rd and OD. When I stomp on it going into every gear it hesatates. It has to gain like 1-2k RPM before it will shift. Basically almost red line. When I am just crusing along at like 70-80 and it tries to drop to passing gear same thing. The engine has to get enough RPM's before it will shift. Almost like it has to build pressure. I changed the torque converter and its working like a champ. Like I said at low RPM's it shift great and VERY smooth. Also if I try to spin the tires the car shutters and won't spin the tires. Does anybody have any idea on what it could be thanks.
