4.11's
 

Does anyone have 4.11's on their 02 Z? Thinkin bout gettin em. wondering how much it increases performance and how it affects gas mileage.

Is your car an auto or manual? What kind of mods are you running?

I had 4.10s in my 95 M6 Formula. I think I gained about .3 in the quater, and actually gained 1MPG (able to use 6th a lot more). I will be putting 4.11s in my Hawk this year.

If its an M6, dont even think twice about it.. DO IT!! The difference is night and day and after having them a month or so you dont even know the difference. At first you kill you mpg because your having too much fun going from 0-60.. after you calm down a bit, its about the same as before because as stated earlier your in 6th alot sooner then before. Highway at about 70 your looking at about 2100rpm..

it is a manual. the mods i have are slp loudmouth, headers not yet but soon, 160 thermo, skip shift, air box, maf.

"Should I get 4.10's / 4.11's for my M6?" shouldn't even be a question that needs to be asked!:D :p

Hell, I put 4.10's into my A4, so certainly they'll work with the M6 and double over-drive:cool:.

I followed after Capn and got 4.10s they are wild. I just sent my Pcm to Ion to reprogram my shift points and speedo. Cant wait to get it back.
