I recently picked up a 1996 Chevy Z28 with the LT1 motor it's got some upgrades the guy I got it off of upgrading the gears in the pumpkin he put 342 gears in it it definitely makes a big difference

If your vehicle is an A4, keep the rearend gears, and go with a 3600 2.5 STR stall converter.
