Most likely not, i think they changed them after 96 or 97. i don't know forsure though. I just got a new transmission in my car and i thought i could take one from a 95 but the dealer told me 94's were not the same.

What about the 4l60e's out of other cars and trucks? I need to find a tranny, and the search is much easier when you don't have to find your exact model and year of car to get it from.

Does anyone know what other years and models have the same 4l60e as a 95Z28?

I have a fully built '94 4l60e that'll work on your '95. With 2200 stall I'd take $1000 for it.

Yep, I believe the ls1's have a different bolt pattern for the belhousing/engine.
