1969 camaro rear end(10bolt)

I’m wanting to upgrade from a 10 bolt to a 12 bolt rear end and was wondering if there is a Van or a pickup truck that came with a 12 bolt that would bolt right up to the 69 Camaro without having to hack it up.

Thanks

Rich

No 12-bolt from a truck will work in your Camaro. They are different from the passenger car 12-bolts. You have an 8.2 rear in your car now. If you don't feel comfortable with that your easiest upgrade would be an 8.5 10 bolt from a 70's Camaro,Firebird, Nova etc. They are nearly as strong as the 8.75 12-bolt and will bolt in.

I thought the spring perches were wider on the second gen?

It will bolt in. The only difference would be using the rear on a single- leaf application. That can be solved with a spacer on the spring perch of the later rear.
