Where to get my brakes checked out

I'm going to the track this weekend, and I want to make sure my brakes are good to go.I know nothing about brakes,or how to self diagnos a problem. They don't squeak or give any signs they are bad.Any advice would be nice.

just take the tires off and sense u said they dont squeak or anything, just look at how thick the pads are. they should be over 1/8 (personally) or more or replace them.
