hi, i have a 97 camaro ss, 6spd. and my mods right now are. bbk shorty headers, moroso cold air, flowmaster, stock 3.42s. and i know ths doesn' help, but it has a cam in it. everyone tells me prolly just a lil bigger than stock. it was in the car already when i got the car. well i ran at the track friday night. and i only ran a 14.4@96mph does that sound about right?? i was hoping atleast really high 13. although i did bog down on the launch a lil, and had a 2.3 60' time. could that have been a lil of the prob? i tried launching at 2k thinking at i would spin way too much being on street tires, and well i didn't spin at all. what do you guys think?

Re: track
since when did a CAM not help?? They help a LOT! shoot. But if you dont know the specs on the cam, then who knows how much it will help. 14.4 isnt too bad with that 60' time. Knock it down to a 2.0 and you've got youself a 13.95.
Re: track
yeah sorry, i meant not knowing the specs of the cam didn't help. it was kinda warm and humid. prolly 95 degrees, or so. and around sea level, i'm in south texas, like ten mins. from mexico. this is the timeslip:
reaction, .432
I1:2.306
I2:6.255
I3:9.432
ET:14.424@96.159mph
i still need some more seat time, i'm not a regular at the track, so hopefully i'll get better. but i am waiting for my injectors, and then i can have my le2 setup installed and see what that puts me into.
