Tire pressure for cammed, stalled lt1???

I know this is a very subjective question but all i'm really looking for is some feeback and some comparison. I got the mods in the sig plus I run on 15x10 pro stars with 11.5 et streets. Only time at the track with them I ran the time in the sig and cut 1.77 60's. All but one run was made with a starting air pressure of 13.5lbs. I hot lapped it a couple it twice and pressure had risen to 15lbs. I don't think there was much of a difference in 60's with 2lbs more air but I can't remember cuz I lost the time slips from that day. Where do you think I should be at as far as air pressure goes for my mods? What are the rest of yall with similar mods running?

TIA

Joe

If you're bracket racing run low air pressure (pressure that you will not ever spin). If you're trying for a fast time keep adding air 1# at a time till you spin then back off 1#. That will be the tire pressure that you will run the fastest. I ran 1.48 shortime with my car at 22#s cold. Frank95z

So in essence you are saying add a pound until my 60' start to get worse. Cuz there is no way I can tell I'm spinning inside the car unless its drastic like going sideways or going nowhere. My car is way to loud for me to hear it spin. And by what yall are saying I should run some more psi in the tires? Thanks for the comments and opinions.

You should be able to feel the difference between a dead hook and a spin.. I know I can.

Watch your tach. If you're spinning badly, you'll see it if you can't hear it.
