My buddy wants a GTech pro or a Tazzo for Xmas, but are they that precise and acurrate, or can they be way off? which is better?

I don't know about the tazzo but I run 3 runs at Darlington,Sc with my math teacher's G-tech Pro. The farthest it was off was by 1 tenth. The main deal with one for me, is not to see exact numbers but to see what your mods do and get better at driving your car.
