What track times with TH350

I just converted my 97 formula from a T56 to a built TH350 with a Art Carr 3800 stall. The car has full BMR adjustable suspension and QA1 coilovers front and rear, with a strange 12 bolt with 3.73 gears.

My best pass with the T56 was 12.60 @ 114 with a 2.01 60' what should I run with the TH350? I also have nitto 555r DR. Engine is in my sig!

At 109 I was in the 11's if MPH is an example of horsepower. Sounds to me like your issue is traction. I was getting 1.6 sixty foot times back then.

The whole reason I am installing the th350 is to make the car more consistent and solve the traction issues.

Re: What track times with TH350

The t56 tranny is not to blame for the poor 60ft. My stock engine with exhaust manifolds produced a consistent 1.83 60ft. 12 bolt w/3.73 gears thru a t56 on slicks. The DR with a t56 is very tough make work consistent. You probably could get good time improvement with the auto, but it's not because the t56 was wrong.

I know that the t56 was not the problem, it was just too inconsistent. The DR's were the issue, the car is really just a track car so manuals are not the route to do for drag racing.
