Solid Roller again..
Ok, just wanted to see if you guys thought that I would still see the 10-12% gain in HP if I use a solid roller cam that has simular stats to my current cam. Below are the #'s.
-Solid roller comp cam- 242/248 585/586 w/1.5s 112lsa -Hydro roller comp cam- 242/248 576/600 w/1.5's 113lsa Also, if it matters I'm using 1.6 RRs Thanks, Jason ------------------ Plates: "Stock 95" 1995 Firebird Formula O'ring/4bolt 383, GTP Race Ported AFR 210s, Yank TH400, Yank 3800 Stall, Trans Break, Moser 12 Bolt w/ 3.73s, and the usual stuff like Hooker Long Tubes, Holley 58mm TB, Sphon Torque Arm, etc.... |
I don't foresee you gaining over 50hp by swapping cams like that. JMO.

I agree it seems strange, but everyone I talked to said that a solid roller will give you 10-12% more power(machine shop and Comp Cams).
