Is it possible?.....

Ok heres my mod list...

AGX KYB 8 way shocks
Energy Suspension tranny mount
Energy suspension torque arm mount
Energy Suspension sway bar end link's and bushings
Prothane motor mounts
Stock rim's and kuhmo tires with decent tread

Fresh engine and newly rebuilt tranny with shiftkit
Edlebrock shorties
stock Y-pipe
Magnaflow catback
CAI
ZEX wet kit~100shot
Mallory 685
Autolite~104's
ZEX bottle warmer

I want to hit a mid 12 how should i set up my shock's? front's stiff and rear's soft?

Should i launch in 1st without spray and then squeeze in second on up?

I ran a 13.1@108 on a 75 shot without the mallory now im running with 5 degrees pulled becuase i have the madz28 tune and it advances the timing 1-2 degrees.

I can throw on a 125 shot if it would help.

put on some ET Streets and launch on the spray and no problem, I like the TR6's for spray better than the 104's

That's backasswards. Set the fronts loose so that the front will lift and weight will transfer to the rear and set the rear to stiff so that the weight will plant the tires rather than be wasted just pushing the body down toward the axle.

Yeah mid 12's are easy with a little shot of n2o and a stock LT1 so you just need to up the shot to 125Hp and only pull 2degrees of timing max. I ran 150HP on full timing and pumpgas but I don't reccomend you do that unless you know how to read a sparkplug.

Without some sticky tires I think (like you said) skipping first gear with the spray is a good idea. Either that or set the on point with the 685 box to 4400rpm or so.
Down the road you should ditch the shortys and go with some long tubes and a cut-out in the I pipe. Nitrous needs to breath. Another thing is, change the plugs out to some TR7s, it's the plug most guys are using now instead of the TR6s. It's a non-projected tip plug, part # BR7EF, and is even safer than the 6s.

So fronts as hard as they go and the rears as soft as they go...Should i let any air out of the tires?

Oh and whats wrong with the 104's is it going to blow my motor to run them or are the plugs you guys mentioned just that much better?

fronts loose, rear stiff. If you have drag radials around 20, if you have ET Streets(bias) 12

With traction it's doable. What tires/gears are you running?

110mph got me 12.30's so i'd say yeah you should be able to do it with no problem.

My 60's were 1.77

My suggestion on the "TR7s" is if you do step it up to a bigger shot. What plug gap are you running?
Having some sticky tires would be the best way to dramatically lower yout et.

Stock rim's and cheap kuhmo's...I know it's pathetic.

Get that 60' lower and you'll run even quicker.

After the comments you still adjusted the shocks backwards or just typed it wrong? As mentioned, that 60ft. could be a lot better. You'll easily be in the low 12s. Good job though on the progress you've already made.
