New best for Stock '00 T/A
New best for Stock '00 T/A
Ok we took the '00 and the '95 to the track on Sunday. probably close to 40-35 degrees out....Yes we're nuts.
Well the '95 had traction issues all day and ran his consitant 13.1 on motor and 12.1 @ 114 with a 1.77 60' on the gun....too bad after the one and only good N2O pass of the day, we heard a knocking in the motor....Barely got it home, and now it's done, no questions asked...Barely had enough power to back it into the driveway. So now the build for him begins once the car is in the garage.
The '00 had a much better day. No traction problems what-so-ever. The T/A has a lid, cutout, and nitto's. So yeah it's not completely stock, but it still qualifies if you live near Chicago. 13.09 @ 105. that included the 1.94 60' time. Not bad for an almost completely stock car. That was with me driving weighing in at 160lbs, and no back seat in the car (they really are useless).
The '95 is getting it's new motor this winter, as well as a trans and rearend. And will continue to be a stock style Suspension, but using aftermarket LCA's ect.
The '00 also goes under the knife this winter for a cam, trans and rearend as well. This car too will have the stock style suspension.

[QUOTE=RS Dragster]Sounds about right. My 99 went 12.97 @ 106 with the exact same 60'. Oh, same mods too.QUOTE]
Yep you're right in there. My 00 Formy went 12.96 @ 107.xx with a 1.937 60 foot on a freezing day in Michigan with a lid, Loudmouth, and free mods on stock size Nittos. That was October 2000.
