Question need advice on spring rate / height for a good drag / street compromise

right now i have the sportlines on my car and i havent had any luck with my 60' times (best was a 1.84 on ET streets popping my street twin at 5500 rpm) spun the ETs pretty bad

so im wondering if its the springs that are hurting my suspension setup so bad ...

they are not that stiff .. i think the rating on them is 360 in/lb in the front and 80-137 in/lb in the back ... their drop is 1.8 front and 2.0 in the back (if im not mistaking )

i need advice on what kind of springs to get so that

1- my car wont look like a monster truck
2- i can still carve corners on the street
3- i can launch my car at the track and wont spin the ETs

basically i need a compromise between handeling and weight transfer

i know shock selection has a major role, right now i run severly worn decarbons .. im thinking about HALs all around for next season .. that should take care of my street / strip compromise nicely (any advice welcome on this as well)

thanx

A friend of mine who runs stock eliminator class told me that Hal 12-ways on the front and stock shocks on the back will work good. I guess you have to be able to raise the front fast and squat the back to get weight transfer. You would probably be able to adjust the Hals for street driving after leaving the track? You should visit www.classracer.com and ask those questions.
