Hey all, I'm a newbie at this drag racing thing. My brother in law has an 02 WS6 A4 and I have an 02 SS M6. He got this thing call a G timer where you plug it in to your cigarette lighter and it tells your 0-60 times and 1/4 mile time. His 0-60 time was 5.2 and mine was 5.9 because I can't stop the car from wanting to spin once I let off the clutch. His car only has an air lid as a mod and he's going around talking smack. How can I beat an automatic 0-60 time? His car just goes while mine wants to spin. Would I beat him in a 1/4 mile? I told him to race me a 1/4 mile but he was hesitant.

 

If you get him out of the hole you've got him. A4s pull alot better than an M6 out of the hole, as it's just stomp and steer. It's very hard for an A4 with a stock stall to catch up with an equally modded M6, I've owned and raced both.
