9.70 all motor if memory serves, he makes 570 to the tire on motor.

I was just wondering cuz i have heard a pretty wide variation of times. any thing from 14.5-13.5.

well joe i am not gonna be the fastest lt1( mid 9's at my best) but i would like to come see ya go down the track sometime where do you useally race at?

 

I have never heard of a SHOWROOM STOCK LT1 running 13.5, have heard of six speeds running 13.99 in very good air.

some head work, and maybe a cam swap. i will base it on flow #'s. other than that....hmmmm no! oh and if i can find a spare center section with a spool and toss in some 4.71 gears for all motor application.

 

I know SLP quoted their LT1 firehawk as a 13.5 car. I've heard of people running 13.7's bone stock.

the times you have listed for me are from my 95 Formula that had a 396 with nitrous, not my 94 z28 that you have listed. on motor the firebird went 10.46 @ 128. solid roller 396 with LT4 heads and TH400

 

also if you decide to do a heads/cam list, back when i had a stock shortblock and 6 speed in the car it went 11.34 @ 121 on motor and 10.54 @ 132 on the bottle

 

if you may what cam where you using? what n20 shot? what did the heads flow

 

on the 396 or on the stock shortblock?

cam was a 254/259, .664/.656, 112LSA

200hp shot, but very tuned down for a ways out of the hole since i had bumper standing problems

heads actually werent hogged out much, had much smaller runner ports than all the "Stage 3" LT4 heads i have seen. 2.00/1.60 valves, 279cfm max intake flow on a bench that supposedly reads low (dont really know if thats the case or not). they seemed to work well on all 3 combos they had been on though (same heads that were on my stock shortblock combo, and same heads George Baxter ran before switching to his Canfield setup)
