I suck at launching

I went to the track last night and ran pretty bad times. I can't launch the car at all, I would either spin or bog. My best run had a 2.3 60'(bogged), 9.3 1/8 at 78 and a 14.2 1/4 at 100.44. If only I could launch the car. Also it was 67 degrees and 100 percent humid. Its a 95 z28 with BBK headers, SLP cai, and a Flowmaster exhaust. I'm running Futura street tires, and they don't grip at all. I was thinking of getting drag radials and a girdle, but I'm still not sure how reliable that will be. What do you guys think? Also do you think low 13's is possible with a good 60' and good conditions?

Thanks

I think mid 13's are more realistic. 13.5-13.7...

A lot of ET has to do with shifting as well as the launch. Was this a street night? Did they prep the track? Many tracks don't do much prep when there are lots of street tired vehicles ripping up the launch area. Try going on a race day instead of a street night and see what the difference is.
