Do you mean the alluminum looking ones? If so I think I have seen them on e-bay before. You could probably do a search on this site on how to make one for cheaper though.

You buy some sheet aluminum and start cutting and bending. That's how I made mine.

Thanks. I added it years ago when I was doing all the free mods I could. I like it because the plastic is very similar to the area it mounts too, painted black it doesnt stand out like the metal ones do. I never noticed a difference after it but I wasnt real consistent in my times at the track back then. It's not exactly a "ram air" since the area around the filter isnt sealed, but I think it has to help provide more cool air to the CAI area though. It sure hasn't hurt my times any.

Does it ever give you any problems in the rain? Do you just avoid any puddles....or do you not even drive it in rain. How much dirtier does the filter get?

I rarely ever drive it in the rain anymore, it's pretty much just a weekend car now. I've been caught in the rain with it a few times in the past though, light rain is no problem but in heavy rain I would just avoid big puddles. It gets a little dirtier then when it was closed up there, I just clean it once a year or so, it's not a big deal.
