Hey guys a got kinda of a unique problem i think. My car hooks to well soo well that when i leave on the rev limiter that car just falls on it face other than going with a taller gear would it help if i went from the second to bottom hole on my lower control arms brakets to help it not hook so hard? do you guys think it might help? any other ideas would be greatly apreciated.

Add air to the rear tires till it will spin just enough to stop the bog.

Makes sense to me...Adding pressure for less traction is kind of like running a harder compound. Big power manual cars usually run a harder compound to MAKE the tire spin and not dead hook/unload/bog...If you leave at big RPM...And it hooks...you will have a problem. Bog or break. Something has to happen.

I had the same problem recently launching on MT DR's with 18# of air at 4500 RPM. Tires dead hooked and the motor bogged down to 1800 RPM. Then had to climb out of the hole.

I intend to air the tires to 30# to get them to spin some and go from there.

As other have said, put some air in them tires!
Sometimes a little wheel spin is good.

if you have adjustable rear shocks you can add compression too.

I would add air. Moving the LCA will remove some antisquiat and take some hit off the tires. Do you have adjustable front shocks?
