best launching RPMs
if you cant get traction then I would say just go off idle and then feather it until you have traction and then floor it. If you are getting good traction then I would stall it up (power break) up until just before the tires are breaking loose and then let it rip. Just takes practice though, document what you did each time and the resulting 60 foot and et (I tell you this, but the reality is that I'm too lazy to do it

i want a stall but its gonna have to wait for now
yeah im too lazy to do it too....ive tried it...my tires always brake loose a little above 1000 rpms....when i get new tires that may change ...when i finish my suspension i might not even have to worry about launching rpms till i geta stall

From what you have listed in your sig, you're not going to need much more than a stock stall. A mild 2000 stall converter would be more than enough unless you plan of doing a lot more to the engine. Too much stall with a relatively stock cam/heads/highway gears/etc will probably hurt performance.
