60' times with heat - any tips

I was running consistent low 1.5's with my stock swaybar and full weightin the fall. I installed Wolffe drag swaybar and I can't seem to get my times down. was wondering how the summer time heat effects 60' times

setup : M/T ET streets 26-11.50-15 12 psi
Spohn tunnel mount torque arm
Spohn LCA's
Wolffe swaybar
QA 1's - front loose, rear set on 8
m6 launching around 4500 on spray(150)
weight 3500 w/ me in it

cutting low 1.6's, was hoping to get in 1.4's but fairly new to the drag
race scheme of things and wondering how the temperature effects launching

my best so far is 10.78 @ 128 with 1.62 -60', car dynoed 400 rwhp w/o the spray. Just curious if 1.6 is something I should be happy with during the heat or not. Just trying to figure this out I'll try to load a video tonight, on video looks good , front tires up equally (about 6")no twisting and car launches straight( thanks to Madman) just 60' times is not where I think it should be. I have launched @ various rpm's, have about same result

To answer this part of your question directly, track temperature has a direct correlation to traction. I don't know how effective your tires are nor what condition they're in but track surface temperatures of 120 degrees or higher frequently have an effect on traction. Local track preparation also plays a part in this. Ambient air temperatures of 90 degrees are usually accompanied by much higher track surface temps especially in the mid-day hours with direct sunlight on the surface.

Also, summer weather conditions dramatically affect horsepower levels. Hot, humid conditions are commonly responsible for the loss of a couple of tenths of quarter-mile ET when compared to spring or late fall conditions.
