Nope...I got no advice for someone doing almost 90mph Naturally aspirated
Yours is all muscle.

Hey , since you are down in SC I may yell at you before we head down to Darlington again.Maybe we could hook up and terrorize the Mustangs down at the 1/4 mile.

Thumbs up

I could see low 1.7 to high 1.6 60's on street tires...... I run consistent 1.82 60's with my 3.73 gears on BFG Comp TA's. I know with more power I could easily get it into the 1.7's. But I don't think that once I get a high stall I will see these #'s unless I get ET Streets........ Track prep is key.......... & weather.

I think you might be suprised. I mean I cut a 1.707 on BFG P245/16/50's Drag radials and RWHP 324. The tires do make a big difference,
woops I meant to quote Smokin...Fred

WTG Mike That is an awsome time slip there. I have never seen a 1.6x 60' time from a car with street tires and I wish I could have seen yours run. With just spending $1000 on rebuilding our 355, using the same internal parts from our other 355 (pistons, rods, crank, cam, heads) and our PG, I am starting to feel sick . I could have built our new motor for less and just added NOS .

Seriously, with racing every weekend we are trying for consistancy and not trying to go fast as possible with our combo. With 10" wide slicks we pull 1.59 - 1.58 60' times and currently ran 11.26@118.10 last Saturday.

If you get any better times let us hear about it, I would like to know.

Question

Sweet times. Was this run at Darlington?I live in Charleston and have a girlfriend in Florence so that's only about 1 1/2 hours from me.Is the track prep there that good?Because the local 1/8 prep sucks at Cooper River!

Your car seems to trap very low for the mods. What elevation do you run at?

Nikkev,

Yeah it was at Darlington. The track is awesome and very sticky IMHO.I used to frequent the ROCK , but after sliding sideways across the 60' mark time after time I finally stopped going there.
I will let you know when we plan to head down that way and maybe even see you down there.

As for the comment of BS from TA...
I will Video the next run and zoom in on the tires for all the disbelievers.
