always shift at 6k. you have 1.6 rockers so use the extra lift.

ooook, so i hit the track again before i pull the cam..I went 106 at 13.5. I did spin off the line with m/t drag radials. I take it it is still my launching since I still have a 2.2 60'

I don't power shift my car. The times in my sig is a stock Z28 with paper filter and stock exhaust.

I end up going faster bogging then spinning. I don't have the stats for my best time but here is one of my best runs.

60' 2.155
1/8th mile 9.078 @ 79.68MPH
1/4 mile 13.986 @ 100.43MPH

I am using BFG street tires. You still have a lot of potential in that car.

you need to launch at at least 3 grand to get a good launch w/ ETs. It may spin a little but its easy to pedal out of it and get back on it before you lose too much

make sure on street tires u avoid the water. drive around it and then back up close to it once ur in the burnout box but dont backup into the water. do a light burnout to clean the tires off. Also run a lower air pressure in your back tires. if everyday pressure is about 35 then run about 28. im not an expert but this is what ive learned and have seen works the best. hope it helps
