16 yr. old's first time at the track!
Last Summer my then 15 yr. old son bought a
94 Z28. I told him that if he ever wanted to race it, to take it to the track. So last night, we did. I was very impressed with his performance!
1st run- RT-.691, 60ft-2.237, ET-9.587, mph-73.30
2nd run- RT.598, 60ft-2.183, ET-9.505, mph 74.01
3rd run-RT.689, 60ft-2.204, Et-9.557, MPH 73.76
4th run-RT.691, 60ft-2.197, ET-9.529, MPH 73.88
5th run- RT.548 60ft- 2.217, ET-9.589, mph 73.52
6th run- RT.561 60ft-2.210, ET-9.578, mph 73.18
7th and final run after going thru the eliminations to get to the final round for the trophy, RT-.621, 60ft-2.205 ET-9.588, mph 73.54
HE WON the street legal class! The final race was between him and a 2001 trans am!
As far as I know these times are actual times at elevation with no corrections.
I feel he could have done alot better if we had different tires, it broke traction EVERY run on the 1-2 shift!
The track was Middle TN dragway? at Buffalo Valley TN.
I think all that time he "wasted" computer racing at nittotire.com must have helped those reaction times!

Absolutely fantastic! My first night I won the first round but went out immediately afterwards. He did great.
