Well, i have some pics of them that i was going to put into my thirdgen. They were the race hedmen headers and were 1 7/8 primary to 3.5" collectors. They required the oil filter be relocated and that you run a mini-starter

i've seen them in a few cars now.

1) with a tubular k-member
2) with a stock k-member
3) with another k-member with even bigger 2" primaries

All fit pretty well......

here is a good place that you'll get what you pay for:

Are those the headers that are supposed to fit in an f-body?? Don't think that flat 4 primary lay out will work. Lemons is a great place, we have a '67 SS we had to get a custom set made for due to the rack & pinion steering kit from Steeroids. They have excellent customer service and are very friendly to deal with. Just lookin for something I can purchase and not have to measure up and get done custom. I know the Hedmans are available, just would like to see some pics, price, and get some feedback. I called Hedman today and they appearently don't carry them, a branch called Husler makes them in Georgia. Also called them and they said to contact a dealer. So tomorrow I'm going to call a place called ART in Florida and see what the deal is. Until then...lata.

Those are designed to fit in my thirdgen......i'm not sure what the layout would like like in the 4th gen

like i said above you need to relocate your oil filter and run a specific mini starter to fit that style of collector

Also hedmen makes them, they are called Hedmen Hustler headers. Go to their website and you'll see a listing for them and what is needed to make them fit

I have the Headman headers in my Firebird. I had to replace the steering shaft with parts from Flaming River (factory rack). I still had to "clearance" the number one tube a little. These headers were originally designed to be used with an aftermarket rack. The stock oil filter is ok. I used a starter that can be rotated to clear the headers.
