TunerCats: Injector Flow Rate Vs DISPLAY Injector Flow Rate?
Its time to get this tune ironed out. My tune has been played with so much I dont trust it any more. I am starting with a stock file from my car and starting my tune over. Its a 383. I know I need to change cylinder volume to 784.5, and my injectors are 42lb/hr GM #12613412 so I need to change injector flow rate to 42, but what about display injector flow rate? what does that even mean. Thanks so much for the help!

Re: TunerCats: Injector Flow Rate Vs DISPLAY Injector Flow Rate?
It's for Y or B body models with Driver Information Center (DIC). The Display Injector Flow Rate is used to calculate the instant/average fuel economy data. Setting is ignored on F-Body's.

OK that is good. Nothing I need to worry about then. I thought it may have been that because of the word Display. Thank you so much for you quick response and help!

Re: TunerCats: Injector Flow Rate Vs DISPLAY Injector Flow Rate?
I have a Corvette, and I learned about this when I took a 100+ mile trip and my display said I averaged 37.6 mpg (383 w/Vortech). I have 83lb/hr injectors, which equates to about 13.8 gal/hr. Unfortunately, the largest number allowed in this field is 8. I wrote to TC and they said it can't be raised. I guess GM wasn't thinking about injectors that big back in 94! So, I changed it to 6.9, so now I can just divide the mpg or distance to empty by 2, to get the correct numbers. And no, that is not the biggest of my concerns with the car :D
