is there anyone who has put a 94 wireing harness in a 93
is there anyone who has put a 94 wireing harness in a 93
and what does it take to install it?i know you have to re wire a little bit i just want to know what has to be cut to make work you know what that is and the 94 is not a maf it is still speed denstey right
A 93 is speed density (no MAF as noted above), and runs batch fire injectors (one wire from the PCM to each bank of the engine, firing all 4 injectors simultaneously). A 94 harness with have the connector for the MAF sensor, and 8 individual injector wires, because the 94 runs sequential injection (one injector at a time, based on cam position). I think there may be a minor difference in the IAC motor connection as well. 93 has no tranny controls, 94 harness will have the electronic connections for the A4 or M6 transmisions. 94 will have 4-wire heated O2 sensor connectors, 93 has single-wire unheated O2 sensors.
You would have to modify the injector wiring to allow the 94 harness to work with a 93 ECM. You can convert a 93 to heated O2 sensors. You could leave the MAF plug hanging loose.

I know someone here in Okla City that did it. I believe he used a Speartech reworked 94 harness and a 94 PCM. He is running a MAF also. He has a box that plugs into the transmission connector that keeps from setting the transmission codes because he is still running the 93 4L60.
